Restaurante Mirador de Abrante (Carretera del Mirador, 38890 Agulo) – this amazing place toward the north side of the island is a tourist destination unto itself. It’s a bar – cafeteria with a glass window bay, and offers a visual spectacle of La Gomera and Tenerife. Enjoy the breathtaking views while tasting local tapas and international cuisine with Canarian flavor. Meals served here include: cuttlefish with garlic mayonnaise, pork tenderloin stuffed with cheese from El Hierro, smoked salmon, and lamb fillet. Warning: this restaurant is not recommended for those scared of heights.
