Bus – Manchester has a complicated network of local bus services (from Arriva, to Bakerbus, JPT, Maytree, Network Warrington, to Rossendalebus) that each have their own day fare (ranging from £1.90 to £2.50). First-time passengers can buy a ticket from the driver direct (provided the passenger has exact change).
If your journey involves more than one bus operator, you may save money with one of the “any bus” tickets available from System One Travelcards. Day tickets are available from the driver, with 7 and 28 day tickets available to purchase from PayPoint outlets or from TfGM Travelshops.
